Kendra Smith is the director of Social Determinants of Health at ProMedica, a mission-based, not-for-profit integrated healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. It serves communities in 30 states across the nation. With wide-ranging experience in real estate development, urban planning, housing policy and community organizing, Kendra is working to improve health outcomes system wide, by advancing ProMedica’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents and investing in the neighborhoods and communities within the ProMedica footprint. Kendra has a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies and Community Development from Cleveland State University as well as degrees and certifications from Ohio University, the Harvard Kennedy School and the Public University of Pamplona, Spain. Kendra serves on the board of the MLK Kitchen for the Poor, is a member of the Rotary Club of Toledo and is a 2017 recipient of the Toledo 20 Under 40 Award.
