As the City’s first Diversity and Inclusion Officer hired in May 2016, I am responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of inclusive workforce, workplace, community and inclusive purchasing, procurement, contracting policy development and MBE, WBE, SBE, VBE, DBE, DVBE, LGBTE, Section 3, HUBzone, small local and emerging business support. I am leading the City’s first Disparity Study in collaboration with nationally recognized Colette Holt and Associates.
